Originally created in early 2007, its robust yet highly flexible architecture is based on over 10 years of development.

What can you expect from a BlockSimple Site?

The website would be displayed using standards compliant XHTML and CSS, ensuring that the site will be accessible across the broadest range of web users and browsing platforms. The style of the site, including the layout to a greater extent, is completely independent from the content and back-end systems.This means that alternative designs can be implemented at any time (to cater for different platforms, accessibility requirements etc.) without having to change the content structure. The site will support multiple page layouts, which can be changed dynamically using the Content Management System.Original layout templates will be supplied to support approved designs, although more can be added if required.

Unique approach

BlockSimple is almost entirely front-end based. Simply put, this means you edit the content in-place, just as it appears for your visitors.There’s no complex back office to get to grips with and no steep learning curve, if you can write a letter on your computer you can use BlockSimple. In spite of its simplicity, BlockSimple is incredibly powerful, allowing control over almost every aspect of site content, while its modular nature means features can be added as and when you need them.
